It all started in 2005. We owned an award winning Cotswold Inn in Burford and were asked to provide bars for outdoor events. We started to offer this service and had such a lot of fun, so when we sold the pub we carried on with these events…and The Travelling Pub Company was born.
After providing bespoke handmade POP UP bars & props for all events across Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, with a vintage inspired theme, in 2013 we had a bright idea of a real Travelling Pub - What if we could bring the pub to you, not just the bars? Soon after, we launched the first Travelling Pub in the UK Pop Up industry, if not the world, where you can actually walk into the pub and get a draught beer!
Our beautifully restored 1983 Bedford Wooden Horse box hit the road…
We launched the Travelling Pub at the Kirtlington Polo Club, representing the Cotswold Brewing Company and serving 200 cocktails on arrival as well as local beers on draft. Since then, we’ve popped up at golf courses, horse shows, private members clubs, estates, family homes and most recently a beautiful arboretum.
We are the first and most unique genuine pub service in the Pop Up bar industry…we can fit into any theme and colour scheme….we are a one off!
We also provide a very experienced and professional offering to your event, whatever the theme, occasion, or venue.
